Task 2:- Using the web design from the Product Design Team and API endpoints from the Backend Team, build a to-do app.
Week two(2) of the SideHustle bootcamp kicked off with the task update being to work collaboratively with the Product Design and Backend Teams to build a to-do app that allows users to add daily tasks and track their daily activities.
We immediately set out to work by having a meeting with the product design and backend teams and subsequently came up with the name for the to-do-app; TASKY(an app that helps user to create a to-do-list, and carry out their day-to-day activities with a goal of helping users manage their time). Following several other processes of planning and brainstorming, we had a user flow presentation from the product designers. Also the API(Application Programming Interface) was presented by the backend team. (Below are the presentations from the collaborative teams...)
Our (Frontend) team was left with the responsibility of creating responsive Signup(Registration), Login, Password Reset, Profile and "Add new task" pages. We then proceeded to distributing the pages amongst ourselves, with each person working on a page and after a few hours of committing time and hardwork to the tasks, we successfully completed building a responsive web design of the to-do-app, TASKY. Below are some images of the pages we built and also the link to the web application;
Week 2 had been an interesting one as we were opportuned to work closely with other teams, network, better learn the importance of collaboration and the need for developing soft skills, in addition to our "workable" skills.
The journey through the bootcamp has so far been a great one and we eagerly look forward to the remaining weeks.๐
